I am very blessed to have been embraced the the local photography community in my area since starting my business a couple of years ago.
It’s a great opportunity to network, support, learn …and on occasion tag along to act as a second shooter at weddings. I am a firm believer that you can always learn from others and therefore I enjoy in the quieter times to assist and support other photographers at weddings.
Being a second shooter gives me the opportunity to photograph a wedding without the same pressure I would normally have on a wedding day, so it creates a very different atmosphere to experiment and grow.
Last year I had a few such opportunities and I am excited to share a few of the images with you over the next month or so (as I don’t get time to blog these when I am super busy shooting my own weddings!).
So first up is Chris and Chantal who’s amazing wedding took place in June at the most amazing boutique hotel in Swaffam, the Strattons Hotel. It was such a pleasure to photograph their wedding alongside the talented Katherine Ashdown, and the brave couple even ventured into a rapeseed field (which was awesome!).
Following the wedding Chantal, having all this amazing decor bits left from her wedding have started her own business Angels by the Sea, where brides can hire some loveliness. If you need some inspiration or styling please head over and give their Facebook page a like!
Gorgeousness Reidy.
Ah thanks Matt, means a lot coming from you!
