Chris and Sam got married at Sprowston Manor in Norwich. Chris is originally from South-Africa and Sam originally from Norfolk, but they now call London home.
I met Chris and Sam as the EDP Wedding show last year (which I am again attending in February – so come say hi!).
Speaking to Sam and Chris at the show and during our initial consultation I knew they were planning on pulling out all the stops! No detail was too insignificant and no aspect too small (they looked for specific bird cages to use as table decorations for months!!).
Chris proposed to Sam in South-Africa by arranging for her to take a ride in a microlite. Once she was up in the air he rolled out a banner with red words reading: “Samantha, will you marry me?” …how romantic is THAT!
As you will see from the images emotions were running rampant on the day, with both Chris and Sam reaching for the tissues during the ceremony!
It might be because I am South-African as well, or more possibly just because this couple has such awesome family and friends, but in no time I felt right at home, helping Sam’s Gran with her jewellery, bantering with the grooms men and chatting to guests (I even had my photo taken – twice!).
With Sam’s mom a qualified florist (by far the most flowers I have EVER seen as a wedding!) and sister a professional cake baker (yum yum) you do not want to miss part two of this blog in a few of days!
