Jake and Laura won a smitten couple session earlier this year as part of a competition I ran.
More often than not (usually in the case of the groom) I hear how they hate having their photo taken and are not photogenic at all…and Jake was no exception!
A good photographer has the ability to put people at ease infront of the camera even when they are nervous or anxious… something I have learnt to do very well. Most of the grooms (and some brides) that were worried about this part of the day actually walk away really having enjoyed the experience.
We headed to Cart Gap beach where the couple got engaged for their session and it didn’t take long before this couple had forgotten all about me and only had eyes for each other !
