Marcus and Sian travelled from Australia to get married at Narborough Hall Gardens, one of my favourite wedding venues in Norfolk. I was delighted when they chose me to photograph their Norfolk wedding, especially as Sian’s mum is a photographer so getting her stamp of approval was very important! With all of my correspondence via email and skype due to distance I only met both Marcus and Sian on the wedding day. I felt at easy with them instantly as they seemed effortlessly relaxed even on their wedding day, possibly a hint to their Ozzie lifestyle!
Their service took place at the Catholic church in Kings Lynn, before all guest headed to Narborough Hall to enjoy champagne and canapé’s in the extensive gardens. With pink pastels and gipsofila as decor a soft, whimsical atmosphere was created while candelabras added structure and elegance. Their wedding cake by Vanilla Pattiserie must have been one of the tallest one I have ever seen!
Food was followed by speeches that were nothing short of emotional, heightened by the fact the family don’t see each other as often due to the distance. It was a pleasure capturing the laughter, tears and hugs that I hope the family can look back to when the longing tugs at their heart strings.
