When I was contacted by Ian Hamilton to shoot a Hindu wedding with him last year I was absolutely thrilled! It is something I have wanted to do for a while but not had the opportunity!
When Rush and Dean’s big day arrived I was not disappointed! Their Hindu wedding ceremony was held in Norfolk after tying the knot with a traditional ceremony a couple of months before in Bournemouth.
It was an early 8:00am start to the day at the King’s Lynn Sport centre (the only place large enough to hold 400 day guests!) for the pre-wedding and wedding rituals, before 200 evening guests then moved to The Red Barn wedding venue in King’s Lynn.
The day was filled with amazing colour, food, ceremonies (yes more than one!), games, and emotional farewells and it was an absolute joy to capture!
Ian and I finally called it a day, 14 hours later – while the celebrations continued into the night.
