Ben and Meera’s wedding was certainly one of the most spectacular I have had the pleasure of photographing. A mixture of Hindu and Christian wedding traditions, merging in one big celebration, of colour, food and cultures. I can’t imaging this wedding would have been the same without The Great Barn at Hales Hall as it’s backdrop.
They ordered the perfect UK summer day, and the beautifully manicured gardens of Hales Hall was in full bloom…perfectly reflecting the colour that surrounded me from all sides on the day!
Meera and Ben are both such soft, generous souls that I felt like a guest of honour rather than their photographer on the wedding day. Meera wears her heart on her sleeve, and I love her reactions captured in the speeches and during the surprise flash mob appearance (!!) by her wedding guests. I would catch Ben stealing quiet glimpses of Meera, he couldn’t keep his eye off her…I have no doubt there two are soul mates and I was honoured to share this day with them.
