Whenever I get the chance to plan a creative shoot I jump at the opportunity. The most recent shoot was inspired by a vintage boho look. We wanted the freedom and florals of boho, and the lace, pearls and romance of vintage. We focused on florals – reflected in the table plan, head piece and floaty dress. In keeping with the loose boho feel we used a cream strapless dress from Faith Caton-Barber, with a massive sash that made it soft and floaty. The make-up was minimal – with a natural flush look to cheeks with attention on the eyes. The cake had delicate pink petals with pearls, making it soft and romantic while the hair was in a loose side French plait – both playful (boho) and romantic (vintage).
[wpcol_1half id=”” class=”” style=””]Who thought the boho and vintage trend would blend so nicely together…of course all impossible without wonderful suppliers (listed at end of post).
On this shoot we had an extra special treat with Sugarfish Productions creating an amazing ‘behind the scene’ short film of what happened to this shoots possible . Scroll to the bottom to watch their a.m.a.z.i.n.g video (or just click here if you just can’t wait!).
Also a big massive thanks to Bloved for featuring the images of this shoot on their blog and the suppliers and models who made it possible.
