Well, where to start with this amazing wedding! Firstly the couple: Ed and Faith are an amazing couple – generous, humble, charming and do they know how to put F into fun!
Secondly the wedding venue – vavavoom! This was my first time shooting at The Great Barn at Hales Hall, and even after hearing from others how amazing it is, I was still blown away on arrival. From super friendly, helpful staff to ‘movie set ready’ gardens!
The day started with me photographing the girls getting ready at Little Willows cottage, before heading the the picturesque Holy Trinity Church in Loddon.
From the pink bridal shoes, the ‘happy clappy song’ in the church, the lawn games at the barn, the funky Mr and Mrs Mouse cake toppers and the shot of the boys admiring Eds’ ring (a bit of tongue in cheek fun) the day could not have gone better.
Even though we ran slightly late on the day, Faith and Ed were adamant they wanted the best photographs possible – and understanding I reply on light to do this, they offered to move the timings of their cake cutting and first dance so we could get the utter amazing sunset shots seen below (known as the golden hour by photographers).
A big big ‘thank you’ to Andy Davison for second shooting on the day – I had to drag him home or he would have stayed till midnight!
